'Amrit Mahaavas Abhiyaan 2022-23' Department Level Award

First in Gondia District Division
 Nagpur, Dt. 6: Today Gondia district was honored with the first rank award by the Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari for its outstanding performance in the implementation of both central and state sponsored housing schemes. Out of the target of 2 lakh 85 thousand houses, 2 lakh 73 thousand houses have been built under the phase-one section of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He also instructed the systems to complete the registration in time to provide benefit to maximum eligible beneficiaries of the department under Phase-II of this scheme.
 The districts, taluks and village panchayats that have effectively implemented the Centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the State sponsored Rural Awas Yojana (year 2022-23) were felicitated by Smt. Bidri in a program held at the Divisional Commissionerate Hall. Bhandara Zilla Parishad President Gangadhar Jibhaghate, Nagpur Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Vinayak Mahamuni, Chief Executive Officer of Gondia Zilla Parishad Muruganantham M., Development Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishore Futane, Establishment Deputy Commissioner Vivek Ilme along with Sarpanch of various districts, Panchayat Samiti Chairman, Tehsildar, Group Development Officer etc. were present on this occasion.
 Mrs. Bidri said, 2 lakh 73 thousand houses were constructed out of the target given for six districts of Nagpur division in the first phase of the Centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He expressed confidence that the goal of remaining 12 thousand houses will be completed soon.
 Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute benefits directly to the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries of the country under the 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Phase-Two' on September 15. This benefit will also be credited to the accounts of 80 thousand eligible beneficiaries in Nagpur division. He said that Gadchiroli and Gondia districts have registered 100 percent and directed the other districts to register immediately. He said that 14 thousand 800 landless beneficiaries have been made available under Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gharkul Land Purchase Financial Assistance Scheme and the remaining 400 beneficiaries will also be made available soon.
Gondia's victory in the category of districts
 Gondia district was awarded first, Bhandara district second and Chandrapur district third in implementation of centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Muruganantham M. from Gondia district and Gangadhar Jibkate accepted the award from Bhandara district.
  Gondia district was also awarded the first rank in the implementation of state-sponsored housing schemes. Chandrapur was awarded the second rank and Wardha district was awarded the third rank.
Excellent performance of Ramtech in Talukas
 Ramtek taluk of Nagpur district has been honored with both the awards in this category due to its outstanding performance in Central and State sponsored housing scheme. In the centrally sponsored scheme, Amgaon Panchayat Samiti of Gondia District won first place, Gondia Panchayat Samiti won second place and Ramtek Panchayat Samiti won third place.
  Armory Panchayat Samiti of Gadchiroli district was awarded the first rank, Kalameshwar Panchayat Samiti of Nagpur district was awarded the second rank and Ramtek Panchayat Samiti was awarded the third rank in the Rajyapurskrit scheme.
Wardha District tops in Gram Panchayat category
 Out of total 6 Gram Panchayats in Wardha district are included in the award for effective implementation of Center and State sponsored housing scheme. Kajali Gram Panchayat of Karanja taluka of Wardha district was awarded the first place and Anandwadi Gram Panchayat of Ashti taluka was awarded the second place award in Central sponsored housing scheme. Rajgad Gram Panchayat of Mool taluka of Chandrapur district was awarded the third place award.
 In the state sponsored housing scheme, Donduda Gram Panchayat of Hinganghat taluka of Wardha district was awarded the first prize, Dailwadi Gram Panchayat of Ashti taluka was awarded the second rank and Bori Gram Panchayat of Karanja taluka was awarded the third rank.
Gadchiroli, Gondia and two talukas each in Wardha district
 In the category of talukas which performed best in availability of government land and availability of sand, Gondia taluka was awarded the first rank, Chamorshi taluka of Gadchiroli district was awarded the second rank and Tiroda taluka of Gondia district was awarded the third rank.
 In this category, Hinganghat in Wardha district was awarded the first prize, Samudrapur taluka was awarded the second rank and Dhanora taluka of Gadchiroli district was awarded the third rank.
 Centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural as well as state sponsored Ramai Awas Yojana, Shabari Awas Yojana, Pardhi Awas Yojana, Adim Awas Yojana, Atal Prakshatra Kamgar Awas Yojana, Yashwantrao Mukta Vasahat Yojana etc. rural housing schemes are implemented across the state. The districts and taluks which have effectively implemented these schemes are encouraged to speed up all rural housing schemes in the state from National Housing Day on 20th November 2022.
