'Drive in Vaccination' for seniors started: - Dr. Nitin Raut

Nagpur dt. 14: Guardian Minister Dr. Nitin Raut expressed his happiness that Nagpur Municipal Corporation has started Drive in Vaccination for senior citizens as per the suggestion of Dr. Nitin Raut in Nagpur following Mumbai.
Dr. Nitin Raut lauded the Corporation for initiating the drive in vaccination campaign by taking the initiative to make Nagpur district one of the leading facilities in Maharashtra in terms of availability of beds, oxygen beds and ventilator beds.
       Today, at the Trillion Mall at Baidyanath Chowk in Nagpur city, he launched a drive-in vaccination campaign for seniors over 60 years of age. On this occasion, he welcomed Shyamdas Chhabrani (83 years old) and Krishna Chhabrani (62 years old) in the vehicle by giving them roses. He interacted with the Chhabrani family. Mayor of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Dayashankar Tiwari, MLA Abhijit Vanjari, Commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Radhakrishnan B were present on the occasion.
Union Minister for Land Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated 'Drive in Vaccination' at Glocal Square Mall this morning. This is the second such vaccination program during the day.
Citizens of Nagpur who cannot come alone, senior citizens are bedridden. Or suffer from other ailments. Who need someone's help. Such citizens above 60 years of age are vaccinated by the medical team of the corporation while sitting in the vehicle if their relatives or acquaintances bring them here in their own vehicles.
Apart from own vehicle, senior citizens can also be brought to this place by auto. The facility will also be provided to senior citizens who can drive their own vehicles, two-wheelers, however, the facility is only for the destitute senior citizens above 60 years of age and the youth of Nagpur are urged to reach out to the senior citizens in their area and help them get vaccinated.
     The Guardian Minister interacted with the medical staff at this time until some citizens were vaccinated. He later told the media that the administration was getting ready for the third wave.
 Dr. Raut also appealed to NGOs to help in bringing senior citizens for vaccination.
