'INDIA's 7 guarantees Nyay Patra for Jharkhand, promise of Rs 2500 and 10 lakh jobs to women
Ranchi:For the Jharkhand Assembly elections 2024, the alliance of opposition parties, INDIA Alliance, jointly released its manifesto on Tuesday evening. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Jharkhand CM and JMM Working President Hemant Soren, along with the leaders of other parties of the alliance, have named this manifesto 'One Vote, Seven Guarantees'. INDIA Alliance has named its manifesto as Nyay Patra.
Under the first 'guarantee' in Jharkhand, INDIA Alliance has promised to implement the locality policy on the basis of the 1932 Khatian and to implement the Sarna religion code to ensure the religious identity of the tribals. In the second guarantee, under the 'Maiyaan Samman Yojana' running in the state, a promise has been made to give Rs 2500 every month to women from December 2024. Currently, Rs 1000 is being given every month under this scheme.

12% reservation for Dalits and 27% for OBCs
The alliance has promised to increase the scope of reservation under the third guarantee of social justice. It has been said that 28% reservation will be given to tribals, 12% to Dalits and 27% to OBCs. Apart from this, a resolution has been expressed to protect the interests of the minority community and to form a backward class welfare ministry.
7 kg free food grains will be given every month
Under the fourth guarantee, a promise has been made to give 7 kg of food grains free every month to the poor in the state instead of 5 kg and to give gas cylinder to every family for Rs 450. The fifth guarantee is related to employment, in which it has been said to give jobs and employment to 10 lakh youth.

Promise to establish degree colleges in all blocks
Similarly, under the sixth guarantee, the promise of establishing degree colleges in all blocks, engineering and medical colleges in all district headquarters has been made. In the seventh guarantee, the alliance has promised to give farmers an MSP of Rs 3,200 per quintal on paddy and a 50 percent increase in the support price of forest products.
On the occasion of the release of the manifesto, RJD's Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav, Congress' Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, state Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh and CPI-ML's Shubhendu Sen were present.
