Nagpur, Jan. 6: The target is to generate an annual revenue of Rs.
 Bhoyar reviewed the revenue growth of all the departments of the corporation. When
Deputy Commissioner Vijay Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner Milind Meshram, Market Superintendent Shrikant Vaidya, Sports Officer Piyush Ambulkar were present while reviewing the income received from the Market, Advertising and Ballot Department.
 A total of 4825 properties including 2692 shops, 956 otes, 1177 temporary plots have been allotted by the market department. Out of all these assets, the market department had achieved Rs 8 crore 3 lakh out of the target of Rs 14 crore 80 lakh in the financial year 2020-21. The target for the current financial year is 10 crore 60 lakhs in 2021-22. This includes last year's outstanding income.
7 crore from Hordig
The revenue from advertisements on hoardings, banner stands on sidewalks, electricity poles etc. in the city is expected to be Rs 6.90 crore. Assistant Commissioner Milind Meshram said that revenue from some advertisement sites was pending. The information should be submitted after verifying what action can be taken on all the relevant issues. Standing Committee Chairman Prakash Bhoyar also directed that action should be taken to get the prescribed income by removing the obstacles in this regard.
