AMMK joins NDA; Political equations to change in Tamil Nadu
Chennai: A positive news has emerged for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Tamil Nadu assembly elections to be held in May this year. The Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) party, led by TTV Dhinakaran, has joined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). This will strengthen the BJP's position in Tamil Nadu and is likely to bring about a major change in the state's political equations.
The BJP has been trying to strengthen its presence in Tamil Nadu for many years, but has not yet achieved the desired success.
