Nana Patole has written a letter to Mallikarjun Kharge demanding that he be relieved of responsibility. He has also said that he has been the state president of the Congress for the last 4 years. "I have completed four years as the state president of the Congress and now the state Congress Committee should be dissolved, a new committee should be formed, and I should be relieved of my post," said Nana Patole, and sources say that a letter was given to Mallikarjun Kharge. Meanwhile, there was talk in political circles that Nana Patole would step down from the post of Congress state president after the assembly results.
