Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Center till March 15 preparation instructions
Nagpur, d. 23: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Center is an important project that will bring glory to the country. This project has started from 15th September 2015 and the project is getting completed. With a view to inaugurate on April 14, instructions have been given to the officers of the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority by Dr. Siddharth Gaikwad, Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, to complete the work of the project by March 15. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Center or Prakalpacha to review the construction and also for the early completion of Sadar Prakalpa, he visited the Prakalpachi thoroughly. Assistant Commissioner Social Welfare Sukeshini Telgote was present on this occasion.

131.68 crores has been approved for the project and Rs.113.74 crores have been spent and the additional expenditure of Rs.14.94 crores has been approved administratively as per the government's decision dated 14.11.2022. Sadar Nidhi will soon be transferred to the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority, and the 40 feet high bronze statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar will be approved soon for an additional expenditure of Rs.3.00 crore, Dr. Gaikwad said at this time. 95 percent work of Sadar Prakalpa has been completed and soon the other works will be completed, according to officials present at Nagpur Metropolitan Development Authority.
