“When Anil Deshmukh's vehicle was stoned, Anil Deshmukh was sitting in front and two were sitting behind. Two police security guards were in the back vehicle. The vehicle was moving slowly when the incident occurred. At this time, four people came forward and a large stone was thrown at the front glass and another stone was thrown from the side (through the door window). Anil Deshmukh was injured in this stone-throwing. In connection with the incident that took place in the case of the attack on Anil Deshmukh, a case has been registered at the Katol police station under the sections of attempt to murder, illegal blocking of the road, endangering the safety of others”, said IG Dilip Patil Bhujbal.
