Keep tribal society out of UCC!

After Sushil Modi Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram also gave suggestion
Wrote a letter to the Law Commission, said- do not submit the report on UCC in a hurry
New Delhi. There is a preparation to bring Uniform Civil Code to make the same law for all citizens across the country. Meanwhile, suggestions are also coming to give exemption to the tribal society as an exception. There was a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs regarding the UCC, in which Chairman Sushil Modi talked about keeping tribals out of its ambit.
Now a similar suggestion has been given by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, a subsidiary organization of RSS. In a letter written to the Law Commission, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram has said that it should not submit the report in haste in this matter.
The RSS organization says that the Law Commission should understand the customs and traditions of the tribal society before taking any decision in this matter. For this, he should talk to tribal organizations and members of civil society. In this matter, the RSS has also appealed to the people of tribal society to present their suggestions before the commission. The organization said that the people of tribal society should submit their suggestions to the government, ignoring the ongoing debates on social media.
Understand the customs of the tribals before proceeding further
In a statement issued by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, it was said that we appreciate the suggestion of the parliamentary panel, which has asked to keep tribals out of the purview of UCC. The Sangh said that debate is definitely going on in this matter on social media, but there is a lack of understanding among most of the people. Because of this people are getting confused. He said that confusion is being created among the people of tribal society as well. Some people are doing this to fulfill their agenda. Significantly, many political parties in alliance with the BJP in the North Eastern states have also expressed reservations about the UCC.
BJP may have tension
In fact, areas like Northeast India, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bengal and Jharkhand have a large population of tribals. In such a situation, the effect of UCC can be seen in these states. This matter is also politically sensitive. Elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh this year. In such a situation, even the BJP government would not want any confusion to arise among the tribal community, the effect of which would be visible in the elections.
