Earlier on Saturday, 1,890 corona cases were found and 7 deaths occurred. Meanwhile, Covid wards have started opening again in Maharashtra.
According to the Health Ministry data, active cases have increased to 10,300, which is the highest since November last year. Earlier on November 12, 11084 active cases were registered in the country.
Maximum cases are being found in Maharashtra. Testing has been increased in view of the increase in cases here. Kovid wards have started opening in some private hospitals of Mumbai. At the same time, the government has also asked all government and private hospitals to remain in standby mode. Along with this, people have been asked to follow the Kovid protocol.
More than 2,000 active cases in Maharashtra after October
For the first time since October, more than 2,000 active cases have been registered in Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, 397 new cases were found in the state, which is 40 less than on Saturday. On Saturday, 437 infected were found in the state, while 3 patients died. In Mumbai alone, 123 new cases were registered on Sunday. Currently 43 Covid patients are admitted in hospitals in Mumbai, out of which 21 are on oxygen support. On Sunday, 17 new positive patients were admitted in Mumbai.
303 cases were found in Gujarat, 299 in Kerala
After Maharashtra, the maximum number of cases have been registered in Gujarat and Kerala. In the last 24 hours, 303 patients were found in Gujarat. While 1 patient died. On the other hand, 299 cases were reported in Kerala, 209 in Karnataka and 153 in Delhi.
