More than 3000 new cases of corona after 6 months
3016 cases, 14 deaths in the last 24 hours; 3375 cases came on 1 October
New Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 3016 cases of corona have been found in the country. This figure is the highest since October 1. On October 1, 3,375 cases were reported. After 6 months, on Wednesday i.e. March 29, more than 3 thousand new cases of corona came again.
On Wednesday, 1,396 corona patients were cured, while 14 infected people died. There are currently 12,589 active cases in the country. The daily positivity rate stood at 2.73%. This means two to three patients are getting positive for every 100 tests. The positivity rate was 1.51% on Tuesday. According to government figures, 15,784 people were given the corona vaccine on Wednesday.
5 states account for 70% of the country's daily cases
Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh have reported 70% of the country's total new cases on Wednesday. 686 new infected have been found in Kerala, 483 in Maharashtra, 401 in Gujarat, 300 in Delhi and 255 in Himachal. 3 people died in Maharashtra. 2 in Delhi, while 1 person has lost his life in Himachal Pradesh. No one died in Kerala and Gujarat on Wednesday.
