NEET PG 2025: Supreme Court's big decision; Exam in a single shift!

The suspense regarding the NEET PG 2025 exam for medical education is finally over. The Supreme Court has given an important decision regarding this exam and ordered that the exam be conducted in a single shift. Earlier, a petition was filed in the court demanding that the exam be conducted in two sessions, but the court has taken this decision to ensure transparency and equal opportunities by disposing of this petition.

What is the court's decision?

The Supreme Court clearly stated that conducting the exam in two sessions can lead to differences in the difficulty level of the question papers, which can create a situation of inequality and arbitrariness. "The difficulty level of any two question papers cannot be completely the same. Therefore, to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates, it is necessary to conduct the exam in a single session," the court noted. Therefore, the NEET PG 2025 exam will be held in a single shift on June 15, 2025 at various centers across the country.

Enough time to prepare for the exam

The court also said that the examination board has enough time to fix the exam center and make other necessary preparations. Therefore, all the discussions of conducting the exam in two shifts have now come to an end.
