NagpurShramik Journalist Union- Election Brahm Shankar Tripathi President Shirish Borkar General-Secretary
"Nagpur: The executive of Nagpur Shramik Journalists Association was elected for the year 2023-25 and the next executive was announced.
Brahma Shankar Tripathi (Special Correspondent, Lokmat Times) was elected as Working President, Shirish Borkar (Special Correspondent, The Hitavada) as General Secretary.
Vice Presidents Paritosh Pramanik (The Hitwad) and Anant Mule (Tarun Bharat) have been elected Treasurers, Moreshwar Manapure (Lokmat), Organization Secretary Parag Joshi (Tarun Bharat), Joint Secretaries Anupam Soni (The Hitwad) and Abhishek Tiwari (Navbharat) .
Remaining Executive Members Hitesh Limbachiya (The Hitwad) Sunil Soni (Lokmat Samachar) Nikhil Dixit (The Hitwad) Kiran Rajderkar (Tarun Bharat) Hemant Salotkar (Young India)(Tarun Bharat) Anand Moharil (Tarun Bharat) Humera Mariam (The Hitwad) Rajshree Yadav (Lokmat) is included.
The newly appointed President Brahmashankar Tripathi has previously held the post of President and General Secretary of the Journalists Association.
He is the General Secretary of the Press Club and the Treasurer of Tilak Patrakar Bhavan Trust. Newly appointed General Secretary Shirish Borkar has served as the President of the Journalists Association 8 times and General Secretary 5 times.
He is the Treasurer of Nagpur Press Club and General Secretary of Tilak Patrakar Bhavan Trust. The result was announced in the Annual General Meeting held at the Press Club. On this occasion, retired journalists Basant Kumar Tiwari, Mahesh Updev, Meera Tole, Varsha Tupkar Madne and Varsha Bashu were honored by Shri Rahul Pandey, Commissioner of Nagpur Division of the State Information Commission.
Senior journalist Vishwas Indurkar took over as Chief Electoral Officer and Varsha Basu took over as Assistant Electoral Officer.
Press Club President Pradeep Kumar Maitra was present on the stage. District Information Officer Takay and Anil Gadekar were specially invited.
