Rahul Gandhi will hold a meeting on Shivteertha on December 28

Mumbai: Congress's mission in Mumbai is starting on the backdrop of the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Mumbai in December. Regarding Rahul Gandhi's Mumbai tour, Maharashtra Congress in-charge H. K. Patil and Congress state president Nana Patole have given information. It is noteworthy that for the first time on December 28, the founding day of the Congress, Rahul Gandhi will hold a meeting on Shivatirtha, i.e. Shivaji Park.

This is not the first meeting of the Congress at Shivaji Park, but it is the first meeting of Rahul Gandhi. Earlier, Congress meetings were held in 2003 and 2006 under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. Then in 2018, permission was sought for Rahul Gandhi to hold a meeting at this ground. But she was rejected. Events can be held at Shivaji Park for only 16 days. In addition, events are held at Shivaji Park for a maximum of 40 days of the year. But, it has to get permission from the urban development department. Permission for the next Congress meeting will also have to be sought from the Urban Development Department.
Although the Congress and the Sena are in the lead in the state, there is a breakdown in the Municipal Corporation. However, the growing rapprochement between the Congress and the Sena after the meeting between Sanjay Raut and Rahul Gandhi will be a headache not only for the BJP but also for the NCP. The grounds known as Shivteerth also witnessed the roar of Hindutva and the swearing in ceremony based on the Common Minimum Program. Now this is the ground that will see the revival of the Congress.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had said that Rahul Gandhi wanted to know about Balasaheb Thackeray's working style. Sanjay Raut and Rahul Gandhi had a quarrel in New Delhi for about a quarter of an hour. Raut had also said that Rahul Gandhi would visit Maharashtra soon.
