The state is not bankrupt! Fadnavis warns the opposition; 92% success in helping farmers, invitation for discussion!

Nagpur, December 7, 2025: The political temperature has risen in Nagpur on the occasion of the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. The opposition parties boycotted the Mahayuti government's tea party and harshly criticized the government's farmer policy and budget. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis gave a sharp response to this, highlighting the state's economic strength and giving detailed information about the help for farmers.
At the opposition leaders' press conference, the Information Minister attacked the government, accusing it of calling farmers "beggars". "The state's debt has reached 9.32 lakh crores, 22% of the revenue is going on interest alone. There is discrimination in the distribution of funds, farmers are not getting justice," said Vijay Wadettiwar. He also clarified that the boycott of the tea party was against the insults towards farmers.
However, Fadnavis denied these allegations. "The opposition is in a hurry to portray the state as bankrupt, but it is not. Maharashtra is at the top in the country. There is enough funds to implement the scheme," he said. Talking about farmer assistance, "92% of farmers have received assistance. The KYC problems of the remaining 12 lakh farmers are being resolved. Additional assistance of Rs 10,000 has been provided to hailstorm victims," ??Fadnavis said. "The allegations of the opposition are baseless. We will discuss all the issues in the session," he also said. This dispute can affect the future of Maharashtra's agriculture and economy. Everyone's attention is on what else will happen in the session.
