The bear movement was carried out.
The movement was led by Nagpur city president Ravibhau Shende.
After the dam agitation at the Constitution Chowk, the statement of demands was given to the District Collector. The Central Government should immediately accept the demands of the farmers and repeal all the three laws. The Government of Maharashtra should immediately issue an ordinance amending the Maharashtra Anti-Farmers Agricultural Produce Market Committee Act. The statement also demanded that a clear provision be made in the law for farmers to get minimum basic price guarantee for their produce and that it be strictly enforced. On this occasion, Ravibhau Shende, Vilas Watkar, Rajubhau Lokhande, Pvt. Ramesh Pise, Vivek Hadke, Murlidhar Meshram Guruji, Dharmesh Fusate, Kishore Kaithal, Rahul Dahikar etc. were present.
