The villagers tell that the process of giving birth to twins in this village started about three generations ago. Doctor Krishnan Sribiju from Kerala has been trying to unravel the mystery of this village for many years. Dr. Biju says that this miracle started somewhere 60 to 70 years ago in the village. The number of twins in Kodinhi has doubled in the last 10 years. They believe that this incident has nothing to do with the food of the villagers.
Scientists from around the world investigated
To investigate this incredible phenomenon happening in the village, a group of researchers from India, London and Germany conducted research here in 2016. Scientists took DNA samples of villagers. For this he collected samples of hair and saliva of villagers. But the hard work of scientists did not yield any specific and accurate results.
