Vanchit's stellar performance in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Municipal Corporation elections; Alliance suffers due to Congress's arrogance

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar: In the recently held municipal corporation elections, the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (Vanchit) has demonstrated its strength. In Ward No. 3, all of Vanchit's candidates emerged victorious, surprising the opposition. Following this success, Vanchit's district observer Yogesh Ban held a press conference and severely criticized the Congress and the BJP. He made a serious allegation, stating, "This election slipped from Congress's hands due to the arrogance of Congress MP Dr. Kalyan Kale."
In this election, Congress managed to win only 1 seat, while Vanchit surpassed them by winning 4 seats. Yogesh Ban said, "If Congress and Vanchit had formed an alliance, at least 40 candidates would have been elected in the city. But due to the MP's arrogance, the Maha Vikas Aghadi suffered a major setback." He claimed that Vanchit candidates secured the second position by a narrow margin in 14 to 15 seats.
Speaking about the BJP, Ban alleged the use of money and pressure on officials. "The BJP exerted pressure at the polling booths, which is why they got more seats than expected. The use of money in this election was so rampant that our poor Vanchit alliance fell short. We expected 19 seats, but democracy was murdered," he said.
In Ward 3, the entire Vanchit panel was elected, showing the voters' trust in the party. Vanchit expressed confidence, stating, "We are not entirely satisfied with this result, but in the future, we will raise public issues with even greater enthusiasm."
