Will America attack Iran? Israel on alert mode

Tensions rise in the Gulf region: Tensions between the US and Iran have escalated once again. President Donald Trump has hinted at military action against Iran after launching a peace organization. American warships, fighter jets, and missile systems are being deployed in the Gulf region.
Tensions between the US and Iran have escalated once again. On Thursday, US President Donald Trump established the "Board of Peace," an international organization aimed at bringing peace and stability to the world. However, just 24 hours later, the US has hinted at military action against Iran. The situation appears to be worsening with the deployment of American warships, fighter jets, and missile systems in the Gulf region.
According to American officials, an aircraft carrier strike group led by the USS Abraham Lincoln may soon arrive in the Arabian Sea. This group also includes guided-missile destroyers and an attack submarine. This fleet was previously in the South China Sea, but it was diverted westward after orders from Trump.
This strike group is currently believed to be in the Indian Ocean region. Its transponders have been switched off to avoid tracking. Meanwhile, F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets have been deployed in West Asia. This is the same squadron that was sent to defend Israel after the Iranian drone and missile attacks in April 2024.
Preparation for long-range attacks
According to reports, KC-135 air refueling tankers have also been deployed in the region, allowing fighter jets to refuel in mid-air and launch long-range attacks. Furthermore, the US has deployed anti-missile systems like THAAD and Patriot in West Asia. Security has been strengthened, and this military buildup comes as widespread protests continue in Iran, a country that is a US ally along with Israel and Qatar.
The US says the Iranian government has used violent force against the ongoing protests. Iranian state media claims that 3,117 people have died so far, including civilians and security personnel. Meanwhile, human rights organizations claim that the actual number may be much higher.
Trump has repeatedly warned Iran that the US could take military action if the violence against the protesters continues. Due to US pressure, Iran has halted the crackdown.
