Mumbai, 21st – Approval was granted during today’s Cabinet meeting to waive the stamp duty on the lease renewal for the land held by the Akhil Bharatiya Shri Gurudev Seva Mandal (based in Mozari) at Subhash Road, Nagpur.
The Akhil Bharatiya Shri Gurudev Seva Mandal, Mozari, is a public charitable organization. The organization is dedicated to propagating the teachings of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj and carries out activities related to social awareness, rural development, de-addiction, interfaith harmony, patriotism, and various public welfare initiatives. The government had allotted an 18,340-square-foot plot of land at Subhash Road, Nagpur, to the organization on a lease basis in 1954. A proposal to waive the stamp duty on the lease renewal—in the public interest and in accordance with the organization's request—was approved today.
