Accident due to lightning strike in Tuman-Tarodi - Consolation gift from Sunil Kedar


Nagpur, dt. 12: A woman was killed and another seriously injured in a lightning strike in Tuman and Tarodi villages of Mouda taluka. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Sunil Kedar visited his family and consoled them.
The government is with us in this time of grief. He directed the authorities to provide appropriate assistance to the victims and their families. Zilla Parishad Agriculture Chairman Tapeshwar Vaidya, Tehsildar Rupani, Tulshiram Kalmegh, Purushottam Raut and other local officials were present on the occasion.
A woman working in a paddy field in Tarodi was struck by lightning on September 9. The women were working in the field when it was raining with thunder. The lightning struck while they were returning from the field. . Babita Akin Gaikwad (Tuman) and Pramila Ghodmare, Sunita Konge, Vandana Harode and Sonu Ghodmare (Tarodi) were injured.
Pushpa Duryodhan Bagade has two children, Rishabh (age 13) and Shraddha (age 11). Minister Kedar also directed the agency to provide Rs 4 lakh assistance to him in case of death due to loss of maternal umbrella and immediate financial assistance from other government schemes.
After inquiring about the condition of Pramila Ghanshyam Ghodmare, who was injured in the lightning strike, she was rushed to Government Medical Hospital, Nagpur by ambulance from Tarsa Primary Health Center for further treatment.
