Beed GST Officer Suicide Case: Shocking Allegations of Wife's Abduction and Harassment!
Beed: Sachin Narayan Jadhavar (38), an officer in the GST department in Beed district, committed suicide in his car in the Kapiladharwadi area on January 17, 2026. However, his wife, Mayuri Jadhavar, has made a major claim regarding this. She said, "My husband could not have committed suicide. He was being subjected to immense harassment for the past month. He faced mental and physical torture at the office as well as in his personal life. There was also an attempt to abduct our school-going child. Our vehicle was hit outside the office, and we were verbally abused. All this was done to mentally break him down."
The name of Assistant Commissioner Dilip Phate has surfaced in Sachin Jadhavar's suicide note. Mayuri also expressed suspicion regarding the police's handling of the case. She asked, "Why are we not being shown the original suicide note? Is there any pressure on the police?" Along with family members, Sachin's brother staged a protest outside the Beed Rural Police Station and demanded strict action against the accused. The protest was withdrawn only after they received an assurance that an FIR would be registered.
