Beneficiaries of Housing Scheme in Nagpur District before the Chief Minister e-Griha Pravesh * Representative,
Nagpur dt. 15: Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana were given a home entry in front of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in a virtual program today so that development works in Corona should not be hampered and beneficiaries of various schemes should not be trapped. Guwahati administration promised to increase the participation of the district in this initiative.
Today, through the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, the housing program of Mahawas Yojana was organized through remote system. From Nagpur, Zilla Parishad President Rashmi Barve, District Collector Ravindra Thackeray, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Kumbhejkar, Project Director Vivek Ilme, Deputy Commissioner Ankush Kedar, District Manager of Marketing and Knowledge Management Mission Amol Baviskar were present.
Various rural housing schemes are implemented for families in rural areas of Nagpur district under Zilla Gramin Vikas Yantra, Zilla Parishad Nagpur. Outbreak of Kovid-19 has been a major obstacle in the implementation of the scheme since last year. However, in this situation, the 200-day Maha Awas Abhiyan implemented by the Rural Development Department was successfully completed. In Nagpur district, space was made available to 1422 beneficiaries through Maha Awas Abhiyan, 6865 beneficiaries were sanctioned in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and first installment was distributed to 9925 beneficiaries. The first installment was distributed to 1086 beneficiaries by sanctioning 161 beneficiaries in the state sponsored scheme. Also during the campaign, 5265 Prime Minister's Housing and 821 state sponsored houses have been completed in Nagpur district.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also addressed the gathering. As many as 3 lakh beneficiaries in Maharashtra have benefited from the Maha Awas Abhiyan launched by the Rural Development Department. In this campaign, even during the Corona period, good quality houses were built with excellent planning and bricklayer training. The women's self-help groups of Umed Abhiyan started Gharkul Mart and provided all the materials required for building houses at reasonable prices locally. Therefore, in such a short time, such a fast paced work could have been done in Maharashtra, said Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri. Uddhav Thackeray.
The event was attended by Rural Development Minister Hasan Mushrif, Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde, Minister of State for Revenue Abdul Sattar and Principal Secretary Rural Development Rajesh Kumar.

Dharmendra Bapurao Virkhade - Lava, Siddharth Moon - Khandgaon, Mrs. Priyanka Dhengare - Davalamethi, Mr. Shravan Wankhede - Vadodara, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Tekam - Vadodara, Mrs. Sumitra Gudre - Metaumari, Mrs. Anita Karpate - Metaumari, Mr. Dharmapal Shambharkar Virtual house entry was done by handing over the keys in the hands of the dignitaries present. On the occasion, District Collector Ravindra Thackeray congratulated all the beneficiaries.
