Nagpur, 12th - India is emerging as a leading country in all fields at the global level today. Especially in the field of defence, the country is moving towards self-reliance. The students who have passed 'NADP' should contribute to the country's journey towards self-reliance and strategic preparedness by adopting the three keys to success - consistency, concentration and dedication,
Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan said here today.
The first convocation ceremony of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) was organized at the National Academy of Defence Production. On this occasion, Hon. Secretary to the Governor Prashant Naranware, Chairman and Managing Director, Munitions India Limited Sanjay Hazari, Chief Director, National Academy of Defence Production
Dr. J. P. Das, Director (Human Resources), Munitions India Limited J. P. Naik, along with dignitaries from the defence sector were present on the occasion.
Expressing his happiness at being present at the convocation of the first batch of Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at the National Defence Production Academy, the Governor further said that this is a milestone event not only for the graduating students but also for our entire nation. The contribution of the students who pass out of this academy will be important in the journey of transformation in the country's defence sector. The Governor said that this academy will become an excellent student center in the field of defence production management in India in the future and its foundation has been laid today.
The Governor further said that defence equipment used to have to be imported from abroad. We had to depend on foreign countries. But now, the Governor said that we are seeing research and modernization along with self-reliance in the defence sector.
The current war will not be limited to humans but will be based on technology. Considering the importance of technology, we need high-quality defence technology. This technology will be learned through this academy. The defence sector has now become open to all. Therefore, the Governor said that many opportunities are available to students to move forward.
Students awarded degrees
The students who received diplomas from NADP were awarded diplomas by Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan. Job opportunities have been made available to all these students in various companies and institutions in the defense sector. Postgraduate diploma courses are implemented through NADP, especially keeping the defense sector at the center.
