Retired police officer Rajaram Sirsat, a resident of Kittiadgaon in Majalgaon taluka, owed Rs 1200 to the sugarcane farmer Vishwanath Pandit, Sheikh Raju Sheikh Babu, resident of Manjarath taluka, Majalgaon district, Beed. For this Rs 1200, the accused and his accomplices kidnapped the farmer. After that, they started beating him. To defend himself, he called the farmer's owner Rajaram Sirsat and informed him that he was being beaten.
Upon receiving this information, retired Rajaram Sirsat asked the concerned accused over the phone. Then he said, "Give me Rs 1.5 lakh and take me to the farm." So, if Rajaram Sirsat gives me Rs 1.5 lakh, will you release my farm? When he asked, he said, "Bring the money and release him." After that, Rajaram Sirsat went home, took Rs 1.5 lakh and went to the place indicated by the accused.

In this seriously injured state, Rajaram Sirsat was forcibly put on a motorcycle and taken to the dense forest of Dhorgaon and Lavul Shivar in Majalgaon taluka and started beating him again.
He was taken to the forest and beaten brutally with sticks, sharp weapons, even a revolver.
