Corona free village school - to open, trial begins
Mumbai, dt. 22: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has directed the department to look into the possibility of starting Class X-XII in the villages which have been corona free for the last few months and will ensure that the villages remain corona free in future also. He was speaking at a meeting of the school education department chaired by the chief minister. Baitakis Shaleya Shikshanmantri Pvt. Varsha Gaikwad, Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte were present.
The meeting also discussed about starting 10th and 12th classes in the villages which have been corona free for the last few months and will ensure that the village is corona free by strictly following the measures to keep the village corona free in future also.
According to Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad, a scheme is being proposed by the school education department to cover the education expenses of students who have lost both their parents due to corona.
