Demand for expulsion from the party due to financial weakness: Former KDMC leader's emotional letter to Eknath Shinde

The political atmosphere has heated up in the final hours of filing nomination papers for the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) elections. The discontent among leaders who have been excluded from ticket distribution is growing. In this vein, Kailas Shinde, former leader of the house and group leader of the Shiv Sena, has written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde requesting his expulsion from the party. Citing his inability to contest the election due to lack of financial resources, he expressed his regret that party loyalty no longer holds any value.
In the letter, Kailas Shinde clearly stated that in today's politics, loyalty, experience, education, and work done for the poor have no importance. Only financial strength has become the sole criterion for contesting elections. "This is the kind of politics that is going on in the country, state, district, city, and village. You get a ticket only if you have money, otherwise not," he mentioned in the letter.
Shinde, who has been dedicated to the party for 20 years as a disciple of Guruvarya Dharmveer Anand Dighe and Eknath Shinde, says, "I am a staunch party worker, but I do not have the financial capacity required for the election. Therefore, I am not eligible to get a ticket in the KDMC election. To prevent any loss to the party because of me, please expel me from the party." He has held several positions as a corporator from Ward No. 61 (Kachore village).
Meanwhile, with only 48 hours left for filing nominations, there is unrest among aspiring leaders. Kailas Shinde's letter raises questions about the Shiv Sena's ticket distribution policy. The party has not yet commented on this.
