Dynasty dominance in the assembly too, BJP fielded the most candidates
Mumbai: The issue of dynasty comes to the fore in the assembly or Lok Sabha elections. The sting of dynasty is seen in all political parties. Be it Congress or BJP, NCP or Shiv Sena, the heirs of all political leaders, the next generation, enter politics as young leaders. They get the most important and big posts in democracy like Zilla Parishad, Mayor, MLA, MP as if they were to inherit them. This same dynasty was seen prominently in the recent assembly elections too. Interestingly, all the parties are beads of the same garland in this regard, but out of the 288 constituencies in the state, a picture emerged of candidates coming forward from dynasty in 237 constituencies. In these, BJP had fielded the most candidates. But, if we combine the two nationalists, it is seen that Pawar's NCP fielded the most candidates from dynasty.
If we look at the politics of Maharashtra, it is seen that big leaders like Pawar, Thackeray, Thorat, Deshmukh, Munde, Shinde, Fadnavis also have political heritage or family members who carry on their legacy. The Pawar family in Baramati has a big political heritage and their nepotism is visible for three generations. Similarly, there is a picture of nepotism prevailing in most of the constituencies in the state, including Thackeray, Munde, Deshmukh. Political leaders from all parties, from the post of Prime Minister of the country, often criticize each other on the basis of nepotism. When it comes to elections, the issue of nepotism always comes to the fore. In the assembly elections held this time, nepotism was prevalent in about 237 constituencies out of 288 constituencies. Candidates with a background of nepotism were contesting in the election fray in these constituencies. However, only 89 candidates out of these 237 candidates have been elected by the people.
Social activist and political scholar Heram Kulkarni has brought out a report in this regard. In the matter of nepotism, Heram Kulkarni, while submitting his report, has also demanded legal regulations in this regard. According to Heram Kulkarni's report, out of 237 candidates from nepotism, 89 candidates have won. 32 percent of the candidates given tickets by BJP are associated with nepotism.

Candidates from nepotism in the Lok Sabha elections
Like the assembly, nepotism was seen in the Lok Sabha elections as well. It was seen that candidates from political nepotism were contesting in 36 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Therefore, it is clear how deeply nepotism has taken root in the party and among the people. What is interesting is that this is the policy of all political parties and I am not in it... no one can say that.
