Farmer commits suicide at bank gate in Beed; Had to go round and round for his own money
Beed, June 19, 2025: A heartbreaking incident has taken place in Maharashtra's Beed district where a farmer committed suicide at the bank gate. Frustrated by not getting money despite constantly going round and round the bank for his own money, the farmer finally took a drastic step. This incident took place in front of the main branch of a bank in Beed, which has created a stir in the area.
According to the information received, the farmer concerned had been trying to withdraw money from his account from the bank for the last few months. However, he was being avoided by the bank officials citing various reasons. His financial situation had deteriorated due to the lack of this money, which was desperately needed for farming. Finally, he committed suicide by hanging himself at the bank gate due to mental stress and despair.
According to information given by locals, the farmer had tried to express his grief to the bank officials earlier too, but he did not get any help. After this incident, anger is being expressed among the farmers and citizens of the area against the bank's management. Police rushed to the spot and took the body into custody, and the investigation into the matter is underway.
