Guidelines issued by the Municipal Commissioner regarding starting schools and colleges
Nagpur, Dec. 15: Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B. regarding the commencement of regular classes in all non-agricultural universities, reputed universities, self-financed universities and their affiliated colleges in Nagpur city. Has issued guidelines by order.
Colleges can be started subject to the guidelines in this order. These colleges are being allowed to start from October 20. Universities want to take a decision at their level in consultation with the local authority regarding the commencement of classes of universities and colleges with a capacity of 50 per cent or more. Students above 18 years of age who have taken two doses of Covid vaccine will be able to attend the university and college in person. The National Colleges on Covid Management, Additional Instructions on Workplace, Guidelines issued by the State Government from time to time or Standard Procedures as well as Guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission from time to time will be applicable to the starting colleges. Students who will not be able to attend the actual college will have to be provided online facility. The order said that special arrangements should be made by the local administration for vaccination of students who have not been vaccinated. The order also clarified that action would be taken against the non-compliant organizations as per the rules.
