Speaking to the media, Piyush Goyal remarked, "Consensus has been reached on almost all issues pertaining to the first phase. Discussions are currently ongoing regarding only a few minor points. Once these are resolved, both nations will sign the agreement."
A high-level trade delegation from the United States has currently arrived in India. This delegation is scheduled to hold the final round of discussions with Indian officials in New Delhi between June 1 and June 4. An announcement regarding the agreement is likely to follow these discussions.
