Keep Sonegaon Lake clean- Nitin Gadkari - The Nagandi project will start soon

Don't throw garbage in Sonegaon lake now. You are the owner of this lake. So take good care of the pond. While beautifying the lake, efforts will be made to provide more facilities, said Union Road Transport and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
He was speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of Sonegaon Lake beautification work.
Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, Min. Vikas Mahatme, Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari etc. were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Gadkari said, "We removed the soil from the lake and planted trees in the road dividers." He is going to develop a garden near the airport and start a food mall on the Corporation's land. Development is in full swing. The face of the city is changing, he added.
The Nagandi project has now been approved. The project is worth Rs 2,400 crore. Gadkari said the work would start in 2-3 months as soon as the consultant was appointed. The city will be free of air, water and noise pollution. All the roads under the metro are made of cement. We will also make other roads connecting these roads with cement. The 20-storey metro station near Zero Mile, 24 by 7 water, fountain in Futala lake, flyover, plantation, symbiosis, brought various companies in AIIMS, Law University, Mihan. It has provided employment to 57,000 youth so far. Not to mention that we will provide employment to 1 lakh youth in the next 3 years. Gadkari reviewed all this work in his speech.
