MLA Sarnaik's family Victim of accident, 6 died

Akola. The family of Legislative Council member Kiran Sarnaik became victim of an accident in Akola on Friday. In this incident, 6 people including Sarnaik's family members have died and 3 have been injured. Police and ambulance have reached the spot. The rescue operation is going on.
According to information, the incident took place this afternoon on a flyover on the Akola-Washim highway near Patur Ghat. This road accident happened due to a head-on collision between two cars. After getting information about this incident, local police and ambulance reached the spot and took out the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
This accident was so severe that both the cars were blown to pieces. Kiran Sarnaik's brother, nephew, daughter and granddaughter were traveling in the car. Five people, including Raghuveer Sarnaik (28), Shivaji Amle (30), Siddharth Yashwant Ingle (35) and a nine-month-old child, have died. Meanwhile, the injured include Piyush Deshmukh (11), Sapna Deshmukh and Shreyas Ingle.
According to the police, the bodies of the deceased have been sent to Akola Rural Hospital for post-mortem, while the injured have been admitted to the Government Medical College, Akola. Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
