Mumbai High Court finally grants bail to Aryan Khan
Mumbai: Actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Dhamecha have been granted bail by the Mumbai High Court. All of them were granted bail in the Mumbai Cruise Drugs case. The attention of many was drawn to this hearing. After all the arguments were completed, the court gave the final verdict on bail. Therefore, it has become clear that Aryan Khan's Diwali will go to his home without going to jail.
Former Attorney General of India and Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi along with Senior Advocate Satish Maneshinde are present in the court to defend Aryan Khan. Lawyers for the three accused argued before the court for bail. Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh appeared for the NCB today.
Anil Singh said Aryan Khan was taking drugs regularly. We have enough evidence to prove this. Aryan was consciously carrying drugs. Two people are with him, the other is known to have drugs. If he takes drugs, it means that the first person deliberately took drugs. Aryan and Arbaaz have been friends since childhood. They moved in together and stayed in the same room.
Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online. However, our charge is not drug use, but drug possession. Aryan Khan carried drugs for the purpose of consumption. This case involves deliberate possession of drugs for the purpose of consumption. The accused have been found in possession of a quantity of commercial drugs. All the eight accused were found in possession of different types of drugs. Looking at the overall volume, it shows a wide sales cut, said Anil Singh.
WhatsApp chats cannot be objected to, as we have the 65B responses of the accused. The party was organized on that cruise and they are saying that my vulgar accused were arrested on the day of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. "It was a dry day so we had to let them go," Anil Singh told the accused's lawyers.
"We have not found any drugs," Singh said. But, according to the Panchnama, drugs have been found in Arbaaz. Arbaaz himself had taken drugs out of his shoes and handed them over to the NCB. The accused was going to 'blast' on a cruise, the chat said. They carried charas with them only for 2 days on the cruise. They were found at Arbaaz.
