Nagpurkars angry with pits -Mayor said immediately
Nagpur, Dec 18: Pits fell everywhere on the roads in Nagpur. People are suffering because of these rocks. The video of the rocks in the civil line area is circulating everywhere. It criticizes Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. They are becoming more of a headache in the rainy season. Therefore, they are marking the politicians who are watching the elections.
Taking serious note of these potholes, Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari gave priority to the potholes and directed to repair them immediately. In that connection, the corporation's hot mix plant department started filling many pits in the city to provide relief to the citizens.
In the meeting, Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari directed to repair the potholes on the roads of the city immediately considering the severity of the large potholes and setting the priority criteria.
Meanwhile, under Dharampeth Zone No. 2, 14 potholes were filled on the road at Ramnagar and 96 square meters were repaired.
Under Hanuman Nagar Zone No. 3, 24 pits were filled on Pimpala Fata road and work of 250 square meters was done by the department.
On Tuesday, information was released by the hot mix plant that 285 square meters of work has been done by filling 75 pits at Nara Ghat Road under Zone No. 10. But potholes remain on the highways that run through the city. There are more between University Chowk and Law College Chowk.
