Mahatma Jotiba Phule is being implemented jointly by the Government of Maharashtra and the Lifelong India Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in the state. 3 lakh 37 thousand 301 beneficiary families from Nagpur district were included in it. Beneficiary families under Lifelong India Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana are provided insurance cover up to Rs. 5 lakh per family per year. The scheme covers 1,209 treatments and 183 follow-up services.
Mahatma Jotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana is a scheme of the state government which includes eligible beneficiaries of Kesari, Yellow and Antyodaya and Annapurna ration cards. The scheme provides health insurance cover of up to Rs. 1 lakh 50 thousand per family per year. The scheme covers 996 treatments and surgeries as well as 121 follow-up services under 34 specialized specialist services.
