This integrated public health scheme covers 38 hospitals in the district. This includes 29 private and 9 government hospitals, said Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Kumbhejkar.
Mahatma Jotiba Phule is being implemented jointly by the Government of Maharashtra and the Lifelong India Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in the state. 3 lakh 37 thousand 301 beneficiary families from Nagpur district were included in it. Beneficiary families under Lifelong India Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana are provided insurance cover up to Rs. 5 lakh per family per year. The scheme covers 1,209 treatments and 183 follow-up services.
Mahatma Jotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana is a scheme of the state government which includes eligible beneficiaries of Kesari, Yellow and Antyodaya and Annapurna ration cards. The scheme provides health insurance cover of up to Rs. 1 lakh 50 thousand per family per year. The scheme covers 996 treatments and surgeries as well as 121 follow-up services under 34 specialized specialist services. Mahatma Jotiba Phule and Ayushyaman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana are being implemented jointly in the state.
