Officials visit hundreds of villages in two days
Nagpur, Dec 28: The district administration has focused on rural areas for the possible third wave of corona and mucorrhoea. In the last two days, officials have cleared more than 100 villages. The District Collector and the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad are regularly reviewing the campaign and a village-by-village action plan is being prepared to remove the rural areas from the corona.
Guardian Minister Dr. Nitin Raut has slammed the tour in rural areas. For the second week in a row, he has started visiting primary health centers and primary sub-centers to strengthen the health system in rural areas of Nagpur district. At the same time, instructions have been given to start publicity campaigns in a large number of villages.
Accordingly, under the guidance of District Collector Ravindra Thackeray and Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Kumbhejkar, responsibilities have been allotted to 52 officers in 13 talukas. Through these officers in the presence of village level medical officers, Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, teachers, Gramsevaks, Talathis, Sarpanch Panchayat Samiti members of the concerned villages, Zilla Parishad members and other office bearers, what measures should be taken for prevention of corona, mucormycosis, how to prepare action plan in the village. Guidance is being given in this regard.
