Oxygen from the air The district will need 16 units

According to District Collector Ravindra Thackeray, 16 Oxygen Separation Units have been sanctioned in rural hospitals and sub-district hospitals in the district due to the increasing incidence of Kovid.

The administration is working on a war footing for remedicivir injection, oxygen, and beds for covid patients.
Work orders for about 900 oxygen concentrator machines were issued today. Western Coal Field Limited (Vecoli) will set up two Oxygen Plants for 700 beds in Government Medical College, one Oxygen Plant for 350 beds in Indira Gandhi Hospital and College and two Oxygen Plants for 750 beds in AIIMS through Social Responsibility Fund (CSR Fund).
