Prakash Ambedkar levels scathing accusation against BJP, calling it the most corrupt party in the country
Kolhapur: Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Adv. Prakash Ambedkar has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that the BJP is the biggest corrupt party in the country. He alleged that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is dancing to the tunes of the BJP and has become like a prisoner, not acting independently. He was speaking at a victory resolution meeting for candidates contesting the Ichalkaranji Municipal Corporation elections.
Ambedkar further said that the abduction of candidates, pressure tactics, and intimidation during the elections are raising doubts whether Maharashtra is turning into Bihar. Voters are being lured with money, and there are also those who accept it. This has led to an increase in corruption.
If money had not been taken during the elections, the roads would not be in such a dilapidated condition. Water doesn't come even once in seven days. The river has become polluted. All this is our own responsibility. Siddharth Kamble, Sandeep Desai, Sudarshan Kadam, Prakash Sutar, Vasant Korvi, Yashwant Bhandare, Somnath Salunkhe, Janardan Gaikwad, P.R. Kamble, Raosaheb Nirmale, Sandeep Kamble, Vaishali Kamble, and others were present on this occasion.
We left the Shiv-Shahu alliance in Ichalkaranji because we were fed up with the 'Patilki' (feudal) style of politics. Therefore, we decided to contest independently. The city gets water only once every six days. Despite being a textile city, no efforts have been made to create skilled local workers, Ambedkar remarked.
