The mother had murdered her only son by strangulating him with a cloth. The post-mortem conducted by the Medical Board on Tuesday revealed murder by strangulation.
Police have registered an FIR for murder on the complaint of the child's father. The police have arrested the child's mother and are interrogating her. She is repeatedly changing her statements during police interrogation.

There was a stain on the shirt of an 8 year old child who returned from school in Sarhaul village. Along with this, he had also lost a book. In this anger, about 25 year old Poonam killed her 8 year old son Karthik by strangulating him with a cloth. During police interrogation, the woman confessed to the murder and also gave this reason. The post-mortem of the child's body was conducted by the Medical Board on Tuesday. Even in the post mortem, it has been said that strangulation was done with a cloth and murder was done.
Told a false story to her husband
This matter came to light in Sarhaul village at around 2 pm on Monday afternoon. 8 year old Karthik studied in first class in a private school in the village. The family is native to UP near Lucknow and now lives here. The child's father Arvind Kumar works as a tile installer in a society in Sector-27 area. On Monday afternoon, around 2 pm, wife Poonam called Arvind and said that their son was unwell. When Arvind reached home around 2.30 pm, his son was unconscious in his wife's lap. The woman told that it had come from school. Gave him water to drink and then he became unconscious.
The child was taken to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The doctor informed the police after seeing the mark on the child's neck. After the information, Sector-18 police station reached the spot. On Monday night, the police registered an FIR for murder against an unknown person based on Arvind's statement in the case.
