Rare tortoise found in Hingna

Nagpur, Dec 30: A very rare tortoise was found in Hingna. It weighs 22 kg 200 g.
Hingana Forest Range Officer Ashish Ninave got a call from the citizens of Hingana last night. A large turtle was walking on the road of the colony. Ashish Ninave immediately rushed to the spot with his staff, took the turtle into custody and brought it to the Forest Department's Transit Treatment Center for medical examination.

This tortoise will live in water and its name is Leith's Softshell Turtle, this tortoise is rare. Mainly found in South India, the tortoise weighs 22 kg 200 g and is 83 cm long and 51 cm wide, with a total girth of 165 cm.
The turtle is in good health and will be released to its natural habitat after a medical certificate is issued by the medical officer.
