Sarpanch decides to vaccinate the village! -Patient growth in Kalmeshwar

Nagpur, dt. 6: All the sarpanches of Kalmeshwar taluka decided to complete the vaccination of all the citizens above the age of 45 years to prevent the crisis caused by the corona virus and also for the safety of the citizens of the village. 12 villages in the taluka are corona free. Preventive measures have been taken spontaneously in 86 villages and 60 per cent vaccination has been completed in the taluka.


The district administration had organized a meeting of sarpanches at the tehsil office at Kalmeshwar following social distance. The meeting was attended by Zilla Parishad members, Panchayat Samiti members as well as Sarpanches of more than fifty villages who resolved to make my village known as a fully vaccinated village.

 In the taluka 19 thousand 706 citizens have been vaccinated out of which 8 thousand 451 citizens above 60 years of age have been vaccinated against corona. Competition should be created in the villages with a view to vaccinating all citizens above 45 years of age. Tehsildar Sachin Yadav also appealed to the administration to cooperate for the liberation of the village.

 The highest number of 1,684 patients were found to be coronary in March. In April, 509 patients were coronary. This includes an average of 16,000 high-risk patients, 18,800 low-risk patients with a growth rate of 15.79 per cent and 16.23 per cent in April. Corona has so far killed 58 people in the taluka.
