Tribute Paid to Lokmanya Tilak at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan
Nagpur, July 23: A heartfelt tribute was paid today at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan to Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak—who used journalism as a potent weapon in the freedom struggle to create public awareness against the British government—on the occasion of his 170th birth anniversary.
Present on the occasion were Prabhakar Dupare (Vice-President, Tilak Patrakar Bhavan Trust), Vinod Deshmukh (Manager), Anant Mule (Vice-President, Nagpur Shramik Patrakar Sangh), Iliyas Shaikh, and Govind Kharetia, along with numerous journalists and dignitaries.
