Vadettiwar's sharp criticism of the Mahayuti, extends best wishes to the Thackeray brothers

Mumbai is being dragged into Gujarat's trap: Vadettiwar's sharp criticism of the Mahayuti, extends best wishes to the Thackeray brothers
Mumbai: Maharashtra Congress Legislative Party leader Vijay Vadettiwar has launched a strong attack on the Mahayuti government's policies regarding Mumbai. He alleged that Mumbai is being exploited, and a conspiracy is being hatched to tie it to Gujarat's apron strings. He appealed for a fight to save Mumbai's Marathi identity and culture. On the other hand, he congratulated and extended best wishes to the Thackeray brothers, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, on their coming together.
Speaking to the media after an event in Mumbai, Vadettiwar said, "Encroachment is underway on Mumbai. Its land is being gobbled up, and Gujarat's control is being increased. We will not allow this to happen. All Marathi people should unite and fight to protect Mumbai." He said that this policy of the Mahayuti government is infringing upon the rights of the Marathi people.
No setback for alliances in local elections
Clarifying that local body elections, unlike Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, are for the party workers, Vadettiwar said, "The INDIA alliance or the Maha Vikas Aghadi has not suffered any setback at the local level. In municipal and city council elections, decisions are limited to local leaders." He said that the Congress had prepared to form an alliance with Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar's parties for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, but there was no plan regarding the MNS.
Happiness over the Thackeray brothers coming together
Speaking about the coming together of the Thackeray brothers, Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, Vadettiwar said, "If the family is coming together, then it is a matter of joy. Their coming together in Mumbai is positive, and we extend our best wishes to them." He also noted that this could change the political equations in Mumbai. Congress's Legacy of Development
Stating that Congress is not a party that indulges in casteism or religious politics, Wadettiwar said, "We are the protectors of the Constitution and we provide justice to every section of society. In the upcoming elections, the people should support us on the issue of development." He also emphatically stated that Congress will always take the lead in the development of a metropolis like Mumbai and in protecting Marathi identity.
This statement has stirred up the political atmosphere in Mumbai, and everyone's attention is now focused on the upcoming municipal elections.
