Why 2024, still want to become CM: Ajit Pawar
Said- Congress-NCP aligned with Shiv Sena, so we could not remain secular
Mumbai NCP leader and Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar, who was recently in news for speculations of joining BJP, is now in limelight by giving another statement. Pawar said that why only 2024, even now I aspire to become the CM. In fact, Pawar was asked by the media whether he was aiming for a bigger post in the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections.
Pawar said that we used to talk about secularism and being progressive, but in 2019, Congress and NCP formed an alliance with Shiv Sena to form the government. That's why we broke away from secularism, because Shiv Sena has been a Hindutva party.
Again praised the PM
Ajit Pawar once again praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pawar said during a program in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, Narendra Modi did what was not possible with Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi. After 1984, for the first time in the year 2014, a government with absolute majority was formed in the country. During the UPA regime, Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh had to take support of other parties to form the government, but in 2014, Modi did a miracle.
On not attending the meeting of NCP said – it was necessary work
Pawar did not attend the NCP meeting on Friday citing urgent work. To this he said that he could not attend the NCP meeting as he had to be present for some other program that was to be held at the same time. At the same time, the NCP clarified on this and said that Ajit Pawar not attending the party meeting does not mean that he is planning to leave the organization.
