Pune. Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde has said that the Department of Social Justice will provide all possible help to the deserving students so that they do not lag behind in the growing competition at the global level.
He was speaking on the occasion of felicitation of students who have passed the Union Public Service Commission and Maharashtra Public Service Commission Examination-2020 in the auditorium of the Collectorate. At this time, Social Welfare Commissioner Dr. Prashant Naranware, Director General of Barty Dhammajyoti Gajbhiye, Registrar Indira Asawar etc. were present.
Munde said that the students have enhanced the reputation of the social justice department by succeeding in competitive examinations at the national and state levels. Many students in the community are being helped through Barty. 30 students are being trained in Yashada through Barti. This will be expanded to include Barty's research and training work. Munde also said that the number of scholarships for education in international universities would be increased to 200 students.
He further said that Barti's grand five-star training center will be set up to impart skills that are in demand globally to the students. He hoped that Barty would expand its reach in the future with the aim of guiding more and more students through Barty and passing the student competition exams in greater numbers. He hopes that successful students will do their best for the last element of the society.

A cluster development plan will be implemented for the overall improvement of the Buddhist community
In places where the population of Scheduled Castes and Buddhists is high, it is intended to implement a settlement improvement scheme in clusters and for this a project of mapping such settlements should be undertaken. He said that considering the importance of military education, the Department of Social Justice intends to set up its own model military school.
Munde reviewed various schemes for Scheduled Caste students under the Department of Social Justice. He learned about Pre-Matric Scholarship, Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship, Tuition Fee Waiver, Subsistence Allowance, Government Residential Schools, Scholarships for Students pursuing higher studies in reputed educational institutions in the country as well as books and educational materials, Government Hostels, Swadhar Scheme.
The Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship for Special Studies Abroad has been approved in principle to increase the existing limit from 75 to 50. Apart from this, it is proposed to increase the limit to a total of 200 students. This scholarship scheme should be done online, so that the beneficiaries can avail the benefit of the scheme in a transparent manner and in less time. He also said that efforts should be made through the Social Responsibility Fund (CSR) for more students to benefit from the scheme.
Information on reconstruction of buildings, availability of land should be provided by presenting the current status of the existing departmental hostels in the state, so that funds can be provided and efforts can be made to get land. All the talukas in the state should have their own hostels. For this, a uniform plan and proposal for hostels across the state should be prepared, Munde said.
In view of the availability of land for Ramai Awas Yojana (Urban) and the difficulty in constructing houses in the present financial provision, the beneficiaries should submit a report on whether they can avail the benefit of this scheme in the form of flats on the plot if they jointly set up a co-operative housing society. He also said that if the houses under the Ramai Awas Yojana, which had earlier benefited due to the natural calamity, were completely demolished, a proposal should be made to rehabilitate them through a panchnama as per the rules.
Along with the formation of Gopinath Munde Sugarcane Corporation, the officials of the department should go to the factories under this corporation and register the sugarcane workers. Accident insurance scheme, hostels for boys and girls can be started by fixing their number accordingly. That's it
