"don't vote for them (BJP):Farmer Leader Rakesh Tikait In Nandigram

Kolkata: Amid an intense Trinamool vs BJP fight over Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee getting injured last week, farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait addressed a mahapanchayat (public meeting) in Bengal's Nandigram today.Rakesh Tikait, while addressing a Mahapanchayat in Kolkata urged people not to vote for the BJP and accused the party of looting the entire country. 
"This is my message to the people of Bengal. The (BJP-led) central government has looted the country...don't vote for them (BJP). If they come to you seeking votes, ask them: when will we get our MSP (minimum support price)," he said.
This is not a politically motivated fight but a fight against the farm bills, she said. More than 400 farmers' associations under the leadership of the Akhil Bharat Kisan Morcha have supported this protest. Thousands of farmers will participate in this convention to be held on March 31 in Belagavi.
