BJP's allegation- Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad raised during Rahul's visit
Congress bid- BJP's conspiracy; CM said – action will be taken
Bhopal. (agency). Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh courted controversy after BJP leaders released a video on social media claiming that 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans were raised during the yatra. After this, war broke out on social media between the leaders of BJP and Congress. The Congress has termed it as a conspiracy to malign the BJP and the yatra.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that those who raise slogans of Pakistan Zindabad will not be spared at any cost, strict action will be taken against them. Apart from Shivraj, many BJP leaders targeted the Congress on social media.
BJP leaders have alleged that 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans were raised during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. It is not clear from where the video that has been released on social media is from.
Third day of Bharat Jodo Yatra in MP
Friday was the third day of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh. The yatra passed through Khargone district, in which many senior leaders including Priyanka Gandhi, her husband Robert Vadra, former CM Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh participated.
CM said – strict action will be taken against those who raise slogans
Amidst the ruckus over this video of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Shivraj Singh wrote- 'Pakistan Zindabad slogans raised in Bharat Jodo Yatra, is it to unite India or unite those who break India. India has been broken before also, is there an intention to break India again? Those who raise slogans of Pakistan Zindabad will not escape at any cost, strict action will be taken against them.
Jairam Ramesh said - bewildered by the success of the BJP yatra
The Congress termed it as BJP's fury over the support being received for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said – Seeing the immense public support for the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the BJP, in a fit of rage, has played a doctored video to defame the Yatra. We are taking legal action against it. We are ready for such heinous tactics of BJP. A befitting reply will be given.

State President of BJP VD Sharma said – Congress's mentality of breaking the country has again been exposed by the slogan of 'Pakistan Zindabad' openly during Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Khargone. It is being proved again and again that this is a break India journey. Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the country for this condemnable act.
