Babasaheb left early due to illness, tension and Congress defeat: Rijiju

MLA Ravindra Chavan has been elected unopposed as the Maharashtra BJP state president. Chavan was given a certificate in this regard at a program held in Mumbai in the presence of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju. On this occasion, Rijiju made a big statement while strongly criticizing the Congress. “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar left us early due to the tension given by the Congress and the two defeats,” Rijiju said.
Rijiju's attack on the Congress
Rijiju criticized the Congress in his speech. “Our party respects the Indian Constitution,” he firmly stated. Speaking further, he said, “The BJP did not get votes in the Lok Sabha elections. Some Dalit brothers told me that they were told not to vote for the BJP to save the Constitution. However, the class that respects Babasaheb Ambedkar will never vote for the Congress.” Rijiju also made a serious allegation that the Congress had insulted Babasaheb.
Babasaheb was awarded Bharat Ratna and Law Ministership
Rijiju further said, “Babasaheb was awarded Bharat Ratna by the BJP-backed government. 71 years after Babasaheb resigned from the post of Law Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made me the Law Minister. Modi gave me the opportunity to seat a Dalit person in Babasaheb’s chair.” Along with this, he praised Prime Minister Modi’s working style.
Constitution Day and election of Ravindra Chavan
Rijiju mentioned that Prime Minister Modi has taken the decision to celebrate Constitution Day. “We respect the constitution of the party and the country,” he said. Speaking about the election of Ravindra Chavan, he said, “Chavan has been made the state president because he is a worker who works like a normal worker wearing jeans.”
What will the Congress reply?
Rijiju’s statements are likely to heat up the political atmosphere in Maharashtra. Everyone is paying attention to how the Congress will respond to these allegations. It will be interesting to see what reactions come from Congress leaders on this.
