Big announcement for Pune Police: The city will get 5 new police stations and 1000 additional police force
Pune News: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made a big announcement for the security of Pune city and the modernization of the police force. He announced that 5 new police stations will be started in Pune and an additional force of at least 1000 policemen will be provided for this. He also indicated that the demand for 2 new Deputy Commissioners of Police for Pune will also be accepted soon.
Speaking at a program in Pune, Devendra Fadnavis said that today I am happy that exactly 10 years ago we inaugurated CCTV Phase 1. With the speed at which Pune city is expanding. Accordingly, we have been continuously adding to it. Today, Pune city police has the most sophisticated CCTV system in the country. In which Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been added. With this system, if a criminal commits a crime and escapes, it is possible to catch him by scanning thousands of CCTVs in 1 minute. He also said that the old song 'Bachke Rehna Re Baba' has now come true because of the Pune Police.
Talking about the maintenance of CCTV, he raised an important point. Referring to a question asked by Ajit Pawar, Fadnavis said that if a camera goes off, it immediately sends a message to the system. Instructions have been given to the maintenance team that the off cameras should be started within 24 hours. Along with this, he also made a suggestion about the announcement system in the police station. To ensure that this system always runs, he proposed the idea of putting a Maharashtra song and a powada of Shivaji Maharaj on it every day.
Fadnavis said that he has prepared a new plan for the future of the police force after 60 years. Everything that is necessary for modern policing has been included in this plan.
